By grabbing a quick cup of coffee, or eating breakfast or lunch at the Liberty’s Kitchen Café and Coffee House, you can enjoy our delicious cuisine while learning more about the Liberty’s Kitchen Youth Development Program. All proceeds from our food and beverage service go directly to support our Youth Development Program.
Liberty’s Kitchen Café and Coffee House is located near the intersection of Broad Street and Conti Street is open Monday through Friday and Saturday.
All of our offerings are prepared completely from scratch from high quality, fresh ingredients and we serve Starbucks® coffee and espresso beverages and Tazo® teas.

Our daily menu includes a range of favorites, as well as seasonal and specialty items, all made from scratch using fresh ingredients. Our customers are supporting the mission of Liberty’s Kitchen and the social benefits of our Youth Development Program by enjoying our delicious cuisine.
Liberty’s Kitchen Café and Coffee House also plays a critical role in the delivery of our Youth Development Program. Our café serves as a training site for Youth Development Program participants and their instructors. Our full service kitchen provides experiential learning through hands-on preparation of fresh, made-from-scratch foods to enhance the skill set of each trainee. Every flavorful item on our menu – from our baked goods to soups and stocks, to our sandwiches and salads, even our salad dressings – is made on site from high quality, fresh ingredients. A combination of duties, both Front of House and Back of House, provides our participants with communication skills, problem solving experience, professional workplace habits and self-confidence – creating the foundation for their success in any type of employment.

Sustainability: What It Means To Be Green
From the moment Liberty’s Kitchen first opened our doors, we have taken our third bottom line of sustainability very seriously. As a social enterprise, Liberty’s Kitchen utilizes green practices in all of our foodservice operations:
- Eco-friendly paper goods and disposables
- Composting of appropriate food waste
- Our own Herb and Tomato Garden
As part of our effort to make our social enterprise more sustainable, Liberty’s Kitchen is a proud member of LifeCity. LifeCity is a local organization working to accelerate the Impact Economy in New Orleans by supporting and leveraging a strong community of organizations and individuals committed to developing sustainable change.
