A letter from Dennis Bagneris in light of Covid-19

On behalf of Liberty’s Kitchen, I am reaching out, first, to express that I hope you and your families are all healthy and safe. In light of the news around Coronavirus, I want to assure you all that we continue to monitor this ever-evolving situation with our trainees’ and alumni’s best interest at the center of mind.

Secondly, I want to thank you for your patronage, and inform you that as of now, we will remain open at our Mid-City cafe and downtown cafeteria. Your continued patronage is greatly appreciated.

We have enhanced our already stringent safety and sanitation protocols, including best practices regarding proper personal hygiene, requiring staff and trainees to wash their hands with soap and water and frequently clean all surfaces, especially high-touch surfaces.

Lastly, and most importantly, while we recognize that school closures and social distancing will have an impact on our capacity, we are committed to being here for our youth as best we can. For some of our trainees, Liberty’s Kitchen is a source of stability. And as long as we’re able, we are dedicated to being there for those who need us most.

But we need your help.

If you’re unable to dine at our locations, please consider purchasing a gift card for future use, or consider us for your next catering need. As always, your gifts will go directly to providing the social supports our trainees depend upon at a time when they need it the most.

As always, thank you for your continued investment and commitment to our youth.

Sincerely,
Dennis Bagneris, CEO
