In service, together: March 27 Update

Dear Friend,

You’ve been with us over the past 10 years with your financial support, as customers and more. We are thinking of you now during this time and hoping that you and yours are staying healthy and staying home. As an organization embedded in the hospitality industry, COVID-19 has turned our world upside down. While we’ve had to get creative with our operations and programming, we are adapting to this moment as best we can and putting all of our available resources into supporting our youth, keeping our staff, and feeding our community.

We’ve paused on-site training in accordance with governmental guidelines, but our team is staying connected with our youth:

  • providing remote case management to trainees and alumni in need;
  • helping alumni who have been laid off to file for unemployment;
  • connecting all current and former trainees to food resources and SNAP benefits;
  • delivering fresh produce boxes to trainees’ and alumni’s homes
Help our trainees and alumni survive this time and access essential services.

We all need groceries and now people–especially the most vulnerable–are worried about how to get them. Our food access partners are sending hundreds of meals out of our kitchen everyday to neighborhoods across the city.

 Help keep our kitchen open so our community can eat.

We are part of the fabric of this city’s hospitality industry. Our alumni were laid off when restaurants had to scale down or close. You can help advocate for this city’s most vital industry by:

This work has never felt more collaborative or more necessary. Your donation today matters more than ever.

Will you stand with us?
