The LK Experience: The Grand Finale
To honor the legacy of Liberty’s Kitchen and its dedicated staff and alumni, please join us at The LK Experience: The Grand Finale on June 17, 2025, at 6:00 PM at The Cannery in New Orleans. This event will celebrate the organization’s 17-year impact on the community, highlight the achievements of the final cohort of trainees, and recognize the contributions of our alumni—including their support of this event. We will also honor our generous donors, dedicated supporters, and committed staff and leadership. Proceeds will benefit recent graduates and trainees, and support staff transitions.
The evening will feature entertainment by the incomparable DJ Captain Charles, as well as culinary creations from the following renowned chefs:

Chef Sue Zemanick: Chef-owner of Zasu and a two-time James Beard Award finalist, Chef Zemanick is known for her refined approach to modern Creole cuisine.

Chef Maggie Scales: Executive Chef and Partner at Link Restaurant Group, Chef Scales brings her expertise in French and pastry techniques to the event.

Chef Caitlin Carney: Chef-owner of Porgy’s, Chef Carney is celebrated for her innovative Southern cuisine and commitment to local ingredients.
